Review of The Alamo in San Antonio, Texas.

The ALAMO in San Antonio, TX
Review completed on January 6, 2015.

Cleanliness of the facility-  1  2  3 4

Friendliness of the staff
- 1 2 3 4 5

Overall rating of the attraction
- 1  2  3 4

Notes: In respect of the fallen heroes at the Alamo, guests are not allowed to take photos inside the building/museum/shrine. Which was kind of a bummer, since it disabled me from fully sharing the experience with you guys, but I understand the reasoning behind it. Inside you will find guns, knives, a bow & arrow, bullets, a cannon, etc. Guests are unable to touch the walls (in order to preserve it) but you can see the huge bullet holes scattered about, in the stone. There is no fee to enter the museum/shrine, but donations are accepted. They have a gift shop next door where you can buy souvenirs, food, and novelty items. It was a neat place.

Would you recommend the Alamo to others?  YES.

Would you visit the Alamo again?  YES.
To view the photos we took at the Alamo (none taken inside, due to the rules) check out this album:
